Our kindergarten and first grade students started enrichment clusters today! The students were very excited about the opportunity to explore an area of interest. This year, we were able to offer sixteen different enrichment clusters to our youngest students. The K and 1st grade students get to participate in two clusters over a period of six weeks. They meet today and will meet on March 30 and April 5 with their first enrichment cluster. Then, they switch to second enrichment cluster that will meet for three weeks (April 13, 20 and 27). The Enrichment Cluster Showcase will be on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
I was able to walk around today and snap a few pictures of the learning and excitement. I will update the blog next week with summaries explaining what each enrichment cluster accomplished.
